Im back :)

Well after an amazing 5 weeks in the Philippines I come home...to rain (greaaaat) :) I had time to do a few little doodles which were based on my time there :)

I did this when I felt really far away from home..I've never been far away from my family so it was weird being away for like 5 weeks ;( (yeah, I don't know how I'm going to survive at UNI :L) I used simple fine line pens for this because (tbh) they were the only materials I had on me at that time hahaaa :)

So this one was based on an a poor area near where we were staying. I swear everywhere I turned there was a piece of string holding what seemed like HUNDREDS of wet clothes. There were so many colours and patterns I had to get some watercolours and pens out :)

After raiding my many plane/boat and bus tickets I decided to make some use out of them and decided to create an illustration :) So the ticket is based in the middle, the rest of the character is made out of magazine cuttings!

My boyfriend failed to tell me that it was rainy season in the philippines, his excuse? 'you wouldn't have come otherwise' hahaa UNBELIEVABLE. So I didn't get a tan :/ ahh well..I did this when it was chucking it down! When it rains..it REALLY rains

Well this one I decided to do randomly, I had a little Cath Kidston writing paper so decided to make use of it and make a vintage piece :)
